Baldrige Education Glossary: Stakeholders

Stakeholders

The term “stakeholders” refers to all groups that are or might be affected by an organization’s services, actions, and success. Examples of key stakeholders might include students and other customers (e.g., students’ families, iemployers, and Departments of Education), the workforce, partners, collaborators, governing boards, stockholders, investors, charitable contributors, suppliers, taxpayers, regulatory bodies, policy makers, funders, and local and professional communities.
