Siklus Waktu (Cycle Time)

Istilah siklus waktu menunjukkan waktu yang dibatalkan memenuhi komitmen atau menyelesaikan tugas. Pengukuran waktu memainkan peranan penting dalam criteria Malcolm Baldrige karena pentingnya kinerja waktu untuk meningkatkan daya saing. Siklus waktu menunjuk semua aspek terkait kinerja waktu. Perbaikan waktu siklus termasuk waktu diperlukan produk/jasa sampai ke pasar, waktu memenuhi pesanan, waktu penyampaian barang/jasa waktu perubahan satu bentuk/model ke bentuk/model lain, waktu respon pelanggan, dan ukuran-ukuran waktu utama lainnya.

Cycle Time

The term “cycle time” refers to the time required to fulfill commitments or to complete tasks. Time measurements play a major role in the Criteria because of the great importance of time performance to improving competitiveness. “Cycle time” refers to all aspects of time performance. Cycle time improvement might include time to market, order fulfillment time, delivery time, changeover time, customer response time, and other key measures of time.
